CMA Positions

Data Services Technician

Significant Duties:  Primary verification of data entered into EMR.  Process and submit encounters and BH TEDS files.  Enter new staff and providers into EMR.  Assist staff with EMR issues or errors, train new and existing staff as needed on system, create guides/instructions for staff.  Design and write spreadsheets, reports, or other necessary documentation formats.  Generate monthly reports requested by programs/departments. Gathers initial demographic and financial information to conduct ability to pay determinations.  Processes monthly billing claims from contracted providers.  In addition to providing other related Data Management and Finance Department Functions.

Compensation: Hourly Part Time –up to 38 hours

Qualifications:  High school degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years work experience in a data related environment.  Associate’s Degree in computer related field or Microsoft certification preferred.  Working knowledge and experience of the Microsoft environment (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access).  Knowledge of basic accounting principles and/or experience in billing, basic knowledge of fiscal controls and budget allotments.  Position requires great attention to detail.  Valid Michigan driver’s license is required.

Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level – Adult Team This position is responsible for providing individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy to adults. Also responsible for completing intake assignments, progress notes, plans of service and teaming. The position may also provide DBT program services such as individual therapy, skills group, and after hours phone coaching. An understanding of the utilization of an electronic records system with basic computer skills is beneficial.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan. Valid Michigan driver's license required.

Contractual Mental Health Clinician Master Level –Children’s Intake Team

This position is responsible for providing individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy to children. Also responsible for completing intake assignments, progress notes, plans of service and teaming. 1-2 years of experience with children and families ages 3-18 years old preferred. An understanding of PECFAS and CAFAS screenings, DSM-5 diagnosis criteria, Bio-psychosocial assessments, Trauma Informed and Treatment planning is required.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan. Valid Michigan driver's license required.


Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level – DBT Team This position works as a member of the DBT Treatment Team providing clinical services to individuals enrolled in DBT Services. Provides individual DBT Therapy, Co-leads structured skills training groups, provided phone skills coaching to DBT Participants as part of after-hours rotation, attend weekly team consultation meetings, participation in Person Centered Planning, complete documentation as required. Must already have completed DBT training (2 day Skills Training and 5 day Comprehensive DBT Training), and have an understanding of the utilization of an electronic records system with basic computer skills.

COMPENSATION – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling, from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan. Comprehensive DBT Treatment training required. Valid Michigan driver’s license required.


Contractual Mental Health Clinician – Master Level – SUD / Co Occurring Disorders Team This position is responsible for providing individual, family, conjoint, and group therapy to adults. Also responsible for completing intake assignments, progress notes, plans of service and teaming. An understanding of the utilization of an electronic records system with basic computer skills is beneficial.

COMPENSATION: – Fee for Service based on experience.

QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling from an accredited college or university and licensure from the State of Michigan through MCBAP preferred. Valid Michigan driver's license required.


Contractual Paraprofessional – Psychosocial Rehabilitation Team This position works side by side with persons with a mental illness during the work ordered day. Provide transportation to and from various community based work sites based on the persons served employment schedules. Mentor individuals as they document their progress on the goals identified through the Person-Centered Planning process. Participate in Person-Centered Planning meetings. Good oral and written communication skills required. Availability to work nights and weekends

COMPENSATION – Hourly Part Time

QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Prefer applicant with experience with Clubhouse model psychosocial rehabilitation services. Valid Michigan driver's license and a clean driving record is required.
